Community Amenities

Sunset Shores is very quiet and private due to the secured entrance into the complex and the parking garage.  Every unit has unobstructed views of the San Clemente coastline that may be enjoyed from inside the home or from your attached deck.  There is a community area with a pool, spa, and lounge chairs for people not interested in sitting on the beach.  Sunset Shores’ residents looking to hike down to the beach will appreciate the private beach access stairs that will deposit you directly onto the sand.

Our Review

Sunset Shores is a great beachfront complex with nice amenities, private beach access, and amazing views from every home.  You really could not ask for a better location if you want to be close to the ocean, and the floor plans flow very nicely and are wide open, so you will never feel claustrophobic.  The proximity to the Pier and beach are positives but keep in mind that a major train crossing is next to the pier, so you will hear train horns from time to time (a big issue in San Clemente that the City Council is constantly trying to improve).  The private beach access stairs are a bit steep, so make sure to hold onto the handrails when navigating them.  Overall, this is an excellent condo complex whose location is pretty much perfect.
