Las Marias is located along the 17th Fairway of the Shorecliffs Golf Club on Avenida Mesita and was built in 1979 by the San Clemente Group Development Corp.  The English-style detached condominiums are quite large, ranging from 2,100 to 2,600 square feet.  The floor plans vary from 2-3 bedrooms, with all containing 2.5 bathrooms and 2-car attached garages.  The homes have multi-level floor plans, and pricing is typically in the $800,000 range. HOA dues are over $300 per month for Las Marias residents.

Community Amenities

Las Marias offers some of the largest condominiums in all of San Clemente.  Some of the homes feature covered patios and upper-level sun decks, and the views of the Shorecliffs Golf Club and surrounding hills are fantastic.  The community is in a quiet location yet is close to a couple of shopping areas off Camino De Los Mares.  The community is gated and nicely maintained, and there are no community pool or clubhouse areas available to residents.

Our Review

Las Marias is perfect for the buyer who wants to be in a quiet location but is not interested in a larger single-family home.  Las Marias is a well-kept community that has a nice location along the golf course, creating a natural setting that is very soothing.  The homes, even though they are zoned as condos, feel like single-family residences.  The HOA dues are a bit high considering there are no community amenities, but having gated access to the community creates a nice sense of safety for buyers with children who are looking for a little more security in their living situation.
