Situated between the Camino de Estrella and Avenida Pico exits off Interstate 5, the Beachwalk community is located on Del Gado Road off Camino Capistrano. With only 19 homes in the Beachwalk community, residents enjoy a quiet lifestyle without the craziness of a large community. The condos are two-story detached townhomes that range in size from 1,300 to 1,600 square feet and were built in 1987 and 1988.  The homes offer 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms along with 2-car direct access garages.

Community Amenities

The nicest feature of Beachwalk is the quaintness of it; with only 19 homes, the community never feels overrun and maintains a nice calm that is hard to find in condo communities close to the beach.  The community is nicely landscaped and well maintained, and the homes themselves have sizable floor plans with vaulted ceilings and private backyards or patios.

Beachwalk is very close to the ocean, specifically Capo Beach, which is regarded as one of the best beaches in South Orange County.  The community is not far from Shorecliffs Golf Club and a few neighborhood parks, including San Gorgonio Park, Capistrano Beach Park, and Mira Costa Park.  Freeway access is only a couple of minutes away, and you are only a couple of miles from the bustling Downtown area of San Clemente.

Our Review

Beachwalk is for the buyer looking for a quiet lifestyle and a close distance to the water.  Beachwalk’s location is at the northern tip of Central San Clemente, so you are away from the constant stream of people visiting the shops and restaurants on Avenida Del Mar; however, it does not take long to get to these wonderful establishments.  The proximity to the beach, nearby parks, and the golf course is a huge plus for this community, as is the fact that your home is detached and feels more like a cozy single-family home than a condo.  The community is very well maintained by the HOA, making this community one of the better of its kind in the area.
