Cantabria was built by Brookfield Homes in 2002 and consists of 58 single family homes.  The one-and-two-story homes range in size from 2,842 to 3,884 square feet and contain 3 to 6 bedrooms, 2.5 to 4.5 bathrooms, and 2 to 3-car garages.  Pricing for Cantabria homes has recently ranged from the high $800,000s to the low $1,000,000s, and Cantabria residents pay monthly HOA dues that are approximately $174.

Community Amenities

The average lot size for Cantabria homes is approximately 8,000 square feet, with select homes enjoying lot sizes that are quite a bit larger.  Like the majority of Talega real estate, these homes are newer and may contain the latest in contemporary upgrades, including granite kitchens, designer flooring, and crown moldings.  Many of the homes in this community have spectacular panoramic views of the Talega Golf Club and surrounding hills and canyons, and the tract’s private location makes for a serene atmosphere.  Due to the large lot sizes, entertainer’s backyards with pools and built-in BBQ islands are found more often than not.

Cantabria contains a nice mix of floor plans that will satisfy a variety of tastes.  Having a couple of one-story options is nice, and people looking for a larger home will have plenty of choices in this tract. These were some of the earlier homes built in Talega, but many still contain modern upgrades. The lot sizes are one of the best features of Cantabria; people looking to create indoor/outdoor living will have plenty of room to work with. The views of the surrounding hills and golf course are excellent, and the tract’s location affords great privacy.
