Oyster Bay Homes For Sale

Oyster Bay is a small single family tract with a wide variety of floor plans and a great centralized location in the Coast District.  Oyster Bay is not known for the panoramic ocean views typically associated with Coast District real estate.

Real Estate

Oyster Bay features 34 single family homes built by Bauer Development in the 1980s, making this one of the smallest single family tracts in the area.  Large lots are standard in Oyster Bay and range from 7,500 to 13,000 square feet.  The size of the homes go from 1,961 to 2,663 square feet and include 2-4 bedrooms, 2-3 bathrooms, and 2-to-3-car attached garages.  Pricing currently ranges from the mid $600,000s to the high $800,000s, and HOA fees are approximately $150-160 per month.

Community Amenities

Oyster Bay is in a great central location in the westernmost part of the Coast District.  The majority of Oyster Bay homes are situated on cul-de-sac streets, so privacy is prevalent in this area.  As the community is closer to Interstate 5 than a majority of Coast District tracts, the beach is only a couple of miles away, and you are close to nearby shopping centers, the Shorecliffs Golf Club, and San Gorgonio Park.  Select homes have beautiful ocean views, and entertainer’s backyards are very possible (and in some cases already exist) due to large lot sizes.

San Clemente Coastal Living Review

Oyster Bay is an excellent choice for buyers who want to live in the Coast District yet don’t want to be too far away from the various amenities enjoyed by San Clemente residents.  Freeway access is very easy from Oyster Bay, and you are close to the shopping centers off Camino De Los Mares and only a couple of miles from the beach.  Oyster Bay residents will enjoy a close proximity to the planned new shops and restaurants in the future Marblehead Coastal development, although homes with ocean views may lose those when the development is built.  This is a very quiet and private area because it is so insulated from main streets, and the cul-de-sac location of most of the homes only adds to this serene atmosphere.
