Driftwood Bluffs Condos For Sale
With unobstructed views of the Pacific Ocean and easy access to the beach below and the nearby San Clemente Pier, residents of Driftwood Bluffs can enjoy all that San Clemente has to offer while barely leaving their front door.
Driftwood Bluffs is a 15-unit secured condo complex that was built in 1978 and is located at 406 Pasadena Court off a small cul-de-sac street accessible via Cazador Lane. The condos in Driftwood Bluffs are all single-story and range in size from 1,720 to 2,120 square feet. The floor plans offer 2-3 bedrooms and 1.5-2 bathrooms, and residents receive parking spots in a gated underground parking garage. Pricing for these fantastic condos have recently been in the mid-to-high $1,000,000s, and HOA dues are around $625 per month.
The main attraction at Driftwood Bluffs is the close proximity to the beach and the panoramic ocean views. There is literally nothing between you and the sand except for a hillside, and Driftwood Bluffs’ residents have private beach access to the sand. The complex is gated, as is the underground parking garage. All of the units offer decks off the living areas so that homeowners may sit outside and enjoy fabulous sunsets and, on Fourth of July, fireworks off the San Clemente Pier.
For those who don’t like the beach, you are in luck – Driftwood Bluffs has an ocean view pool and spa for your enjoyment. There are plenty of lounge chairs and tables for you to enjoy, and the views of the ocean from this communal area are fantastic.
San Clemente Coastal Living Review
Driftwood Bluffs has a lot of excellent features, but the main appeal is the short distance to the beach and the San Clemente Pier. The cul-de-sac location of the complex adds extra privacy to an already secluded spot, and the amenities one can enjoy without leaving the community are a nice bonus that is not found in too many condo communities in the area. The private beach access consists of a long set of stairs, but the elevation drop is not very severe, so the staircase is easy to manage (unlike, say, the steep stairwell near Sunset Shores). The pricing and high HOA dues reflect the location of Driftwood Bluffs and the community amenities, so if you’re looking for beachfront living and a short distance to restaurants and coffee shops, the extra expenditures are worth it to secure a home at this great condo community.
