The estates of Cotton Hills are quite large, with some offering over 4,000 square feet of living space. These homes were definitely designed with large families in mind; many of the floor plans have main floor bedrooms perfect for guests or in-laws. The homes are perfect for buyers looking for turnkey properties with contemporary appointments; those hoping for a bargain with the option to upgrade on their own should probably look elsewhere. The views are fantastic, although the location does give you some freeway views as well; the elevated distance from Interstate 5 keeps the noise to a minimum. The distance to the Downtown area is another plus; you are only a half-mile from the top of Avenida Del Mar and approximately 2 miles from the beach and San Clemente Pier.
