People looking for a touch of suburbia in a coastal climate will be happy living in the Coast District. The Coast is the place for single family real estate, large lot sizes, and panoramic views of the surrounding hills, canyons and distant coastline.

Real Estate

The Coast District is designed with families in mind as evidenced by the lack of condo options.

Just east of Interstate 5 in the northern part of San Clemente is the Coast District, a sizable area built amongst the rolling hills and canyons. The Coast District offers quaint communities that provide a serene atmosphere in a private location. Select tracts are close to Talega and North San Clemente, and the Coast District's inland location affords great privacy and a beautiful natural setting amongst San Clemente hills and canyons. With a variety of single family homes and custom estates to choose from, the Coast District adds a suburban feel to this coastal city.

Coast District neighborhood of San Clemente

Welcome to the Coast District, a slice of suburbia in a coastal town.

The Coast District primarily consists of single family neighborhoods. There are 14 distinct builder tracts in the Coast District along with the Las Marias condo community, the Shorecliff Mobile Park, and numerous custom homes. Due to its location, many of these homes possess beautiful golf course and mountain views, with select homes and tracts offering a panoramic shot of the San Clemente coastline and Catalina Island in the distance.

Coast District Homes

The Coast District is one of the older areas in San Clemente and offers a touch of suburban living that is typically not found in coastal cities. The Coast District is for the homeowner looking for peace and quiet - the individual tracts do not contain a lot of homes, and the large lots afford extra privacy from your neighbors and little thru-traffic. The views from many Coast District homes are spectacular, but the distant location from the coastline does not give the expansive views of the ocean found in closer or more elevated neighborhoods. The Coast District is designed with families in mind as evidenced by the lack of condo options, and the age of the properties creates an excellent opportunity to upgrade your home both inside and out.
