Many of the homes in the Hillcrest tract enjoy beautiful ocean and city lights views, with select homes offering unobstructed views due to their elevated lot locations. The Hillcrest development is very insulated from thru traffic, so privacy can be enjoyed by most homeowners. The location in the central hills is high enough to block out freeway noise, yet access to Interstate 5 is just down the road on Avenida Presidio. A little further down Avenida Presidio will lead you into the beating heart of the city: Downtown San Clemente and all of its great eateries and boutique shops.

With some of the real estate being older and outdated, Hillcrest presents great opportunities for San Clemente buyers to upgrade the properties given the development’s functional square footage, location, and ocean views. The views from select homes are simply stunning, and the interior location of the streets amongst the rolling hills provides a great sense of tranquility. The floor plans are on the smaller side but feel very comfortable, and the community as a whole feels very private. Select homes are on cul-de-sacs and single-loaded streets, something that is difficult to find in the congested Central area west of Interstate 5. Hillcrest, like the other Central communities east of the freeway, is for the homeowner looking to be close to the finest San Clemente amenities yet far enough away to still enjoy some quiet times with the family and friends.
