Shorecliffs Golf Course

This golf course dates back to 1964 and has the feel of a seaside links course. Shorecliff's Golf Course is located in the Coast District of San Clemente and plays on the west and east side of Interstate 5 freeway. This is a par 71 course with a total length of 6,280 yards. Green fees range from $27-$50 with a cart included. Shorecliffs Golf Course is located at 501 Avenida Vaquero, San Clemente, CA 92672. Reservations can be made by calling (949) 492-1177.

San Clemente Municipal Golf Course

San Clemente Municipal Golf Course, also known as San Clemente Golf Club, is a championship 18-hole golf course located in Southeast San Clemente. Juniors are always half price, Fridays are considered weekdays, and you are allowed to walk the course if you choose. This course is located one mile from the Pacific Ocean and some holes offer ocean views. From the blue tees, the course measures 6,415 yards in length and is a par 72. Rates range from $22 for weekday twilight, $30 for regular weekdays, and $38 for weekends. Residents play for half price with the purchase of a $50 discount card and proof of residency. Seniors can purchase 10 rounds for $200 for weekday use only. The pro shop can be contacted at (949) 361-8384 and the course is located at 150 E. Magdalena, San Clemente, CA 92672.

Talega Golf Club

Talega Golf Club is a par 72 Fred Couples designed course and was recently rewarded four stars for Golf Digest's Best Places to Play 2007. The course is located three miles from the Pacific Ocean in the rolling hills of Talega and is the newest addition to San Clemente golf courses. Rates range from $40 for twilight to $120 on the weekend. Reservations can be made by calling (949) 369-6226. The course is located at 990 Avenida Talega, San Clemente, CA 92673.

Pacific Golf & Country Club

Pacific Golf & Country Club is located on the outskirts of Rancho San Clemente approximately three miles inland from the Pacific off the Avenida Pico exit of Interstate 5. This course was designed by golf legend Gary Player and offers three 9-hole courses: Carnoustie, Muirfield, and Royal Lytham. Each one of the courses is a par 36 and of championship length. The club offers a practice facility, locker room, sauna, jacuzzi, and golf shop. In addition, there is a 30,000 square foot clubhouse with mixed grill, cocktail lounge, and dining room.
