Dining & Entertainment
San Clemente is host to many restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops, and specialty foods with many being locally owned. Entertainment includes a local movie theater, community events many times in downtown San Clemente, and restaurant and bars with local bands, comedy nights, or karaoke.
Some of our favorite places to dine include the Fisherman’s Restaurant and Bar where you can dine on the water for any meal down at the Pier. For the best bagels in town, we recommend the Bagel Shack located at 777 S. El Camino Real. The best California cuisine is Beachfire Bar & Grill located on Avenida Del Mar. These are just a couple of the many places with great food and a great environment.
For nightly entertainment, Taka-O Japanese Restaurant and Sushi Bar, The OC Tavern, Beachfire Bar & Grill, and Molly Bloom’s Irish Pub are local favorites. Taka-O sushi has Karaoke, Molly Bloom’s has comedy night and Beachfire Bar & Grill has local bands.

Healthcare
San Clemente has a large group of health practitioners serving the community. San Clemente also has its own hospital located in Northern San Clemente. In addition, there is the South County Urgent Care that serves Talega and San Clemente residents. Services include family practice, urgent care, sports medicine, aesthetics, and much more. We recommend contacting your healthcare provider for a list of physicians on your plan in the San Clemente area. In addition, adjacent cities also offer all your healthcare service needs.
Local Businesses
San Clemente has a very diverse group of businesses. There are a lot of locally owned boutique shops and restaurants as well as larger corporate establishments such as banks, grocery stores, gas stations, etc. Because San Clemente has a population over 65,000, anything you could practically need resides in many of the commercial shopping centers throughout the different areas of the city. One of our favorite areas for shops and restaurants is downtown San Clemente along Avenida Del Mar and down at the Pier. There is also a brand new development going in called Marblehead Coastal that will include a theater, shops, and high-end restaurants to be completed over the next few years.
