Parking Permits For San Clemente Meters Now Available
San Clemente residents and Non-Residents may purchase 12-month permits
Posted on December 15, 2010 by Matt.
With 2011 quickly approaching, the City of San Clemente is rolling out parking permits for the 2011 calendar year. The new permit, which is valid for 12 consecutive months and may be used at any metered parking spot in San Clemente, may be purchased at City Hall (100 Avenida Presidio). The permit costs $50 for residents of San Clemente and $100 for non-residents. With metered parking being the primary option close to the beautiful San Clemente beaches (including the Pier Bowl, Poche Beach, Linda Lane Beach and Park, and North Beach), this is a great idea for frequent visitors to these areas who want to avoid constantly feeding the meters. If you spend an average of 2-3 days per month at beaches with metered parking, a 4-hour time period at a metered spot will cost you around $6.00, meaning the permit would pay for itself after 8 trips to the beach for residents. For non-residents who constantly visit the San Clemente beaches, the permit would be paid off in about the same amount of days, maybe a couple more.
