Adjacent to the new developments of Talega in the northeastern part of San Clemente, Forster Ranch is an expansive arrangement of single-family neighborhoods and high-end condo communities. Situated east of Interstate 5 amongst the rolling canyons and hills between the southeastern tip of San Juan Capistrano and Avenidas La Pata and Vista Hermosa, Forster Ranch contains some of the newer homes in San Clemente and the panoramic views one expects from San Clemente coastal living.

Forster Ranch encompasses 25 neighborhoods and gated communities and features homes built from the mid 1980s to as recently as 2005. The aesthetic appeal of Forster Ranch lies in the heavy Spanish influence of the architecture and landscaping. Off of Camino Vera Cruz is the entrance to the Forster Ranch Ridgeline Trail, a 3.2 mile natural hiking trail with some spectacular views of canyons and the San Clemente coastline. Shorecliffs Golf Club is a short distance from the western neighborhoods, and the beautiful beaches of San Clemente are only a couple of miles away.
